Smashing the Idaho Panhandle 22/23 - Lookout, Silver, Schweitzer, 49, Mt Spokane
Proximate to it all, trolling live from CDA. I'm ready for the Turn. The days are shorter. The lakes are colder. The tourists are leaving. No one knows what's coming. After all, my life is better than your vacation. I know something you don't. The terrain here is under fucking rated.
92 days until first chair at Schweitzer.
Sending this thread into the heart of the collective, to pull surfing Lake maggots into the backcountry, to drag them to the slowest chairs known to man, to ice over your lenses, to emerge from the long dark winter days and smash steeps, bumps, parks, trees and groomers.
I've been here for five years, and still hiding in the shadows those that live for winter, but live in the likes of Spokecompton, Wallace, Kellog, Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint and all the little redneck shitholes in between.
Come and ski.
Post your stoke.
Report conditions.

Settle down sparky, it’s way to early for this. Plus there’s rules.
A: You must have skied actual snow, not 2” on grass, to start such a thread
B: we already have a thread, we like the way it keeps rolling.

This…geez, enjoy the rest or summer and fall. Winter will be here soon enough.
And I was hoping to make it to the inland PNW gathering this year, but now it probably won’t even snow for you guys.

doesn't take much to get the INW's panties in a bunch lol
i like this new thread, better than bumping a 10 year old one
it doesn't snow in the INW anyways so I don't know why everyone's so upset

I think Smashing Potatos would be a great band name.

I think the lakes are just starting to warm up. Yesterday was the first time this summer that I wanted to linger in Lake Wenatchee
