Proximate to it all, trolling live from CDA. I'm ready for the Turn. The days are shorter. The lakes are colder. The tourists are leaving. No one knows what's coming. After all, my life is better than your vacation. I know something you don't. The terrain here is under fucking rated.

Sending this thread into the heart of the collective, to pull surfing Lake maggots into the backcountry, to drag them to the slowest chairs known to man, to ice over your lenses, to emerge from the long dark winter days and smash steeps, bumps, parks, trees and groomers.

I've been here for five years, and still hiding in the shadows those that live for winter, but live in the likes of Spokecompton, Wallace, Kellog, Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint and all the little redneck shitholes in between.

A: You must have skied actual snow, not 2” on grass, to start such a thread

Well, that's just like, your opinion, man. It's snowed in Colorado. My first turns of 20-21 were September at Schweitzer. And using the same thread for multiple years is weak and lazy (like the weak ass snow for the euros thread).
