WTB: 168-175 fat skis for Japan (120 underfoot)
Just signed on to a January Japan trip, so looking for Spoons, Bentchetlers, Hyperdrifters, etc. No bindings necessary.
What are you holding out there?

I’ve got some seriously hammered hellbents that would come back to life with a tune. Grabbed them since they had a “free” sign on them. If you want em they’re yours. I really think w a grind they’d be good to go. The sollys on them are garbage

Since you didn’t mention a price. Or if you wanted new or not. https://www.corbetts.com/2022-black-crows-nocta-skis/
They are a 177. But they ski shorter. that’s like $520USD. I ski the 190. Had a 185 and they were insane in tight trees. Just went longer for when I open it up.
that ski with a full tech binding is like a sore dick, can’t beat it.

I am working w whyturn to secure his 184cm Hybrid 120s. If that deal comes through I’ll be putting some 178cm Pure3 Spoon 120s up for sale.

^ Those 178's are super fun skis in pow, kinda boardy and blah on groomers but whatever.

Occasionally I see the fat Bents for sale cheap around here in the land of Amer Sports. I’ll keep an eye out.

I dig them. They are just a bit too directional for me to handle them here on the east coast as an aging telemark skier - primarily ski trees. Hoping to procure the 184s and set them up alpine. Pure3 construction belongs in another climate too. Way too variable here on the ec for that build, hybrids better suited.
Coincidentally zzz helped me secure the 120 Pure3s at a favorable rate many years ago. They’ve been well cared for and used sparingly.Uno mas

Hey thanks for all the suggestions and for sale offers. I think anything over 172-175 will be too much ski for me, though. I'm only 5.5, 130#, but a decent skier, right @zion zig zag ?

Not to thread hijack, but I was going to post the same query. Flying out 12/29
I need something around 180, so I won't effect op's request. Any suggestions? We're going to a hut deep in the alps and will just be touring, no need for alpine clamps. Thanks!

I’m happy up to 186. I’ve got Wailer 112s in the 184 that I think are not going to be enough. The Lotus sound interesting. I’ll pm ya

I do recommend the benchetlers. Also had great luck with Moment wildcats or whatever the lady version would be.

Oh shit, just remembered my wife is selling her 174 Wildcat (116) tour if that's of interest. Got skins for them as well. PM if interested.
FUCK, I'm daily driving on $25 beaters with repaired delam core and she has 5 pair of ultra badass > 120 under foot boards....and a bunch of other super killer shit down to RC4 SL boards. WTF is wrong with this picture?

If you go full RR like a lotus 138. Go long or go home.
Lotus 120 skis more true to size.

Volkl One 176cm. Actual length 175cm. Not quite 120 (116 underfoot) but full reverse camber and very surfy.
Nearly perfect condition.

If you run across a QST 118 in a 174 it would serve you well for Japan
