My food recommendations and obviously exaggerated social commentary make you want to buy ammo?
Seems like gun nuts like to solve everything with more guns...

I don't think Ricks is open anymore... thought the owner was brought up on racketeering?

Thanks for the local beta.. That said, I try to only return fire when things get personal. Not a fan of random callouts unless it's a ski off that can easily happen..

I think the Deja Vu chain bought Ricks. Yeah, Lake City is still a bit a hold out but it's nothing like the place that created the reputation. One of strip clubs is now a cancer center (100's of beautiful girls, and 3 ugly ones!), the erotic massage shanties are now condos and most of the open air drug transactions have moved to legit shops.
What I always found most interesting about Lake City is all the sex and drug trade was two blocks down a hill from multi million dollar homes with views of Lake Washington and the Cascades. Seattle and much of the Puget Sound region has such a views and valley culture that the there is often no buffer or demarcation (proverbial "tracks", highway, river, etc.) separating wealth like many other cities.

Damn, if only this had been posted a day earlier... I was just in Lake Shitty, and hungry, and not in the mood for my usuals. Empanadas and Alfajores would've been perfect.

Hon... you're not going to change any hearts and minds with this ranting. The only thing you're going to do is raise your blood pressure and burn daylight. I'm not a gun person either but unfortunately it is what it is in this country. You can work for change in a positive way that doesn't leave you strung out and angry if that helps - there are plently of organizations looking for motivated individuals.
As for the other issues, racism, homophobia, hate, as Gandhi said: “You must be the change you want to see in the world.” Seek peace within yourself and you will find it in others.

I'd be in favor of the mods changing the title of this thread or OP doing it if they're not really at banned camp. There's good info a lot of people would find really useful who will miss it because it's disguised as a personal attack insult thread.

Yeah, he might be into something. Like Yelp but with a dose of raging homophobia? Maybe trip advisor with the best beta, but lightly flavored with anti abortion rants? I’d love a book review site where I could also fill up on flat earth rage.

Is Lake City just a nickname for Seattle or is it a part of Seattle? Trying to keep up.

Traditionally dive bars and shady used car lots, but gentrification has been marching northward.

I went to one on El Camino in Redwood City once, either I didn’t follow the proper procedures or gave them an undercover cop vibe because there was no discussion of “extras” … just a mediocre massage from a mid 40’s Vietnamese woman. Only $20 though, I tipped $20 and still nothing… IDK

I thought this was about Lake City, CO and was impressed with how it's grown.
Maybe they are trying to say there is a correlation that random shootings and killing kids can improve the nightlife of a neighborhood.

Nothing signals inflation more than a $10 chicken sandwich that is not even up to Wendy's standards.
I could get 3 Chick-Fil-A Jesus chickens with fries for the price of one "sandwich" at Panera.
Not sure what that has to do with gunz and Seattle being dead, but that is my $.02
