    Been “hoarding” vinyl for years.
    Both of my CD players are on the fritz, so have been “digging in the crates” and spinning a platter almost every night while making dinner.

    Definitely “rediscovering” some gems, but also finding the holes in my collection…

    Nowhere near as cutting edge or memorable as their debut.
    Side 1 is kinda tepid and bland.
    Side 2 is better, but overall this is the dreaded “sophomore slump.”

    Or perhaps I just need to give it a few more spins…

    Yesterday at the lodge they were blasting “Can’t Live Without You,” so natch I had The Scorpions stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
    Discovered I had 2 copies of Blackout in the crates when I got back home.
    Blasted Side 1 this morning at 6:45 AM and it set me up for a great day of skiing Tahoe pow.
