    Deore 1/11, 11-50 drivetrain set

SOLD! I bought these from bikeinn so returning isn’t worth it; ended up with compatibility problems. I paid about $200, looking to recover the money. This is just the derailleur, chain, cassette, and shifter. No cranks.
Pics soon! Located in Leavenworth WA.

Might be interested in these, if the cassette fits on an HG driver.

I have an XD driver, and that was my problem. If the HG is the one that the splines go all the way across the body, should be good. Sram and Shimano use the same HG interface, just some work with XD and some don’t. As I understand it.

riff: post up a pic, please. I didn't think there was an 11-50 cassette option for 11-sp and HG. I'll get in line, pending that.

Confirmed this morning, deore 11 speed uses standard hg interface- also, it’s 11-51, not 50. here’s a picture of the set. Click image for larger version.

I'm going to pass on these, since I really only need a cassette and chain. Hot deal, though!

Is there something like M5100 or M6100 stamped on the derailleur?

5100 is HG, 6100 is microspline.

Just out of curiosity- does anyone know if these 11-speed deore cassettes are compatible with older XT (M8000) rear derailleurs?

I am at the point of assuming that nothing is backwards compatible
I think the specific issue here is the big cog, takes geometry and a clutch on the derailleur that older ones don’t have.

Well I just bought an M5100 cassette to go with my older M8000 derailleur, so I guess I'll let you know how it goes when it gets here. Just need to crank on B tension screw, right? What could go wrong?

Yeah the M8000 rear mech does have a clutch and M8000 cassettes go up to 50t. Just worried about cog spacing and chainline.
