In slow mo that hit looks ok, but Tkachuk hasn’t really earned the benefit of the doubt, and at full speed it looks really bad. He certainly was head hunting there.

I was there in January for a random game, and even then it was the loudest sporting event I’d ever been to. I can’t imagine what it was like last night.

I fast forward when play is stopped so I don't hear the PA bullshit but that's the quietest crowd I've ever heard in a cup final when the home team is winning. The loudest i heard from the fans was the one guy yelling at the panel after the game.

Great hit--reminds me of that Krug hit a few years ago. About no Panthers PP after the fighting after the hit--if you want to stay out of the box in that situation you have to have the discipline to hold back. The Panthers don't have that.

A Vegas strip c;lub is offering the players free lap dances for life if the win the Cup. A tattoo parlor is giving free VGK tats. Vegas.

Good time indeed! I grew up going to games in Detroit - both in Olympia and The Joe. Was lucky to come from a real hockey town.

Vegas is Vegas and Hockey in a non-traditional winter location always seems different to me. They definitely create a lot of “attention keeping gimmicks” during breaks in play and way too much piped noise and visuals while play was under way that it honestly distracts from watching what’s happening on the ice.

That said - they put on a great show - it is Vegas!

One recommendation- the Jack Daniel’s club/bar needs way more bartenders. 24oz beer was $19.

Did I mention it was Vegas??!!

Was awesome to see my first Cup Final game irl, I moved to Utah just after the Wings drafted Yzerman…
