Thanks for the props. Lots of northern transplant hockey fans here.. still surprising to see how well hockey does here. I'd say still the majority of people at the games are locals or long time residents here.

Orlov is on an expiring contract and wasn’t even close to terms with management. Caps received a first, second, and third pick with Craig Smith ( who cares about him). I’m actually more bummed about Hathaway. Also going to be FA. Boston gave up a decent haul for rentals. We’ll see what happens over the summer.

Caps couldn’t even beat the last place Ducks last night. Shame!!!!!!

I don’t really like Marchand, but I get the sense that teammates love him and you’d want him on your team. So it’s hard to hate a guy like that.

I also only see him a few times a year though, so maybe you east coasters know something I don’t.

As much as I despise him, Marchand has elevated his game into elite offensive status. Iceman is correct; he will be in the HOF eventually.

Dirtiest player in the game. Only reason he's not got the dirty player penalty minutes is because he's so fucking good at it.. and as great at scoring and defense as he is at cheap shots.. Godry Howe was also pretty fuckig dirty.. Shoving his stick in other player's gloves and shit.

Marchand will be HOF for sure..
