It may just be my Oilers fan perspective but Johnny ain't worth 10M today let alone for 7 years.

Flames kicked ass in that deal IMO and will have a better team this year with Huberdeau/Weegar/Kadri over Johnny/Tkachuck. Similar skill and production but better size, better drive and more proven performance.

Sutter when asked to compare Tkachuck and Toffoli who may take his place on 1st line: "One guy's won Stanley Cups and been a big part of long playoff runs"

Nice burn on Tkachuck who's more or less disappeared come playoff time aside from taking stupid penalties

Elite Leafs team is even better than last year. If they can get anything close to league-average goaltending, they will contend for the President's trophy.

...and then probably get to play Tampa in the first round again.

    Leafs Suck!

No, they don't. They used to suck, but they haven't sucked for a while now. Even a day after a loss due to a terrible last-minute giveaway. By a defensive pair who nobody would've put out there to close out a game in regulation. Holl and Muzzin suck, that's who sucks.

Ottawa though? The suckiest sucks to ever suck.

As an Ottawan, Leafs will always and forever suck, even if they win the Cup.

Flyers beating the Lightning 3-2 after being down 2-0 will sure quiet a Tampa Bay crowd down.

I’m still trying to figure out the Bruins game. I turned it on and it was 6-5 Ottawa with 16 minutes left in the third.

Both teams pulled their goalies on the opening face-off and never looked back.
