I downloaded the “Peacock Free” app but when I select TDF I get a screen that asks me if I want to pay $4.99 or $9.99. And no way that I can see to get around.
You can also use GCN plus with a VPN. I bought it last year but it just expired so I subscribed to Peacock this morning. I preferred the GCN commentary but its slightly more expensive and you have to mess with a VPN every time you tune in

2022 TDF Fantasy Challenge (SPOILER ALERT)

$10 peacock subscription is worth every penny for the ad-free hd quality and sub-1hr prime time recaps. I spend more than that on the beverages I enjoy while watching the stage.

Just chiming in to say fuck NBC and forcing me to wait to watch the stage, then having commercials every 30 seconds so it was pretty much unwatchable. At least the race was less exciting than I anticipated.

haven't watched today's stage yet but it was fun watching yesterday's going through the serre chev area
and saw the dog incident on highlights- such a black lab thing to do to saunter though traffic as if everyone will stop for me

Those of us with only basic cable didn’t get to see this incident on the afternoon broadcast because they only showed the last half of the race…

This. Takes a long intense pull on Alpe d’Huez, pulls off, Pogacar attacks and fades, Kuss comes back & pounds more tempo. Rinse, repeat. And he sure didn’t look like he was suffering.

Also cool to see Roglic pounding vicious tempo

Barguil out with COVID! I almost bought him last night. I fell a sleep while calculating rider changes on a spreadsheet, before I could make any changes.
    Thank god.

Shades of old Sky and US Postal teams with Jumbo's tempo setting yesterday, was great seeing Sepp crushing the last . Glad I picked up Pidcock mostly just b/c of his MTB prowess.

"SKA has heard from various teams, team doctors and riders that the corona tests that ASO takes do not follow a strict protocol and that the swab is often not inserted deep enough into the nose. If ASO reports that there are no positive cases, then that message should be taken with a bag of salt."

2022 TDF Fantasy Challenge (SPOILER ALERT)

Roglic DNS to let his injuries heal from his stage 5 crash.
And COVID struck Magnus Cort and Simon Clarke, both tested positive and DNS this morning.

I am gutted for Magnus, I was sure he was going to get the most combative Jersey at the end of the tour.

2022 TDF Fantasy Challenge (SPOILER ALERT)

I think Vingegaard has the chops to hold off Pogacar
Team stll has Laporte, Benoot, Kuss, Van Aert & Van Hooydonk to assist
May need to be careful about defending green such that they don’t lose both…

I was torn on picking a sprinter last night & that would have gotten me the win - live & learn

Kuss is now in a critical domestique role

Wout van Aert (BEL) — 348.
    Tadej Pogacar (SLO) — 182.
    Jasper Philipsen (BEL) — 176.
    Mads Pedersen (DEN) — 158.
    Fabio Jakobsen (NED) — 155.

Doesn't Wout now have the green secured? Up 166 points, 6 stages left. 2 sprint opportunities per stage (?), 20 max(?) per sprint?

I had Morkov on my team but he missed the time cut today. I don’t really want to spend credits to sell him right now, if I start stage 16 with 7 riders can I still continue or do I have to sell him now to continue the game?

I’ve got Morkov too. He hasn’t been worth much…thought I’d get more out of him as an experienced pilotfish for a top sprinter.
