Doesn't Wout now have the green secured? Up 166 points, 6 stages left. 2 sprint opportunities per stage (?), 20 max(?) per sprint?
Flat Stages = 50 points for win, 20 point for each intermediate sprint point
Hilly finish/medium mountain stage finish = 30 points for win, 20 point for each intermediate sprint point
High mountain stage finish = 20 point for win, 20 points for each intermediate sprint point
Individual Time Trail = 20 point for win, 20 points for each intermediate sprint point

    Stage 16 Hilly = 50
    Stage 17 Mountain = 40
    Stage 18 Mountain = 40
    Stage 19 Flat = 70
    Stage 20 ITT = 20
Stage 21 Flat = 70 (maybe even 100 points for stage 21 win?)
    But thats 290 points available.
I know they are not all possible for the sprinters, but its not "secured"

You can start with a riders who has abandoned or out with injury, just leave him in your team.
You can't start with a blank rider spot.
You spend the credit when you drop the rider, and then buying only uses your budget. Dont waste your credits until after the rest day, to see what shakes out on Mondays COVID tests again.
So keeping an abandoned rider, and rolling with only 7 riders is just fine.

“All tests were negative, with the exception of two riders for whom complementary biological examination is required. The two concerned riders do not rank within top 20 of the event’s general classification,” read the statement.

“While these riders are completely asymptomatic, security measures (isolation of the two riders) have been implemented to protect the other participants.

    ^ Bob Jungles - AG2R
Rafael Majka - UAE (also tested positive before stage 1)
These were positive rapid tests, then they will have a PCR test Tuesday morning, and a viral load assessment to see if they can continue.

There are maybe 100 riders I would have expected to take the win ahead of Houle. Great ride today

CVV sez Campagnolo has had problems with their 12sp chains all season
That can't be good for business.

I've had Jorgenson in my team since start of Tour (I like to just pick a team and stick with it.) So it's my fault he ate shit on descent today. Kids got tons of potential.

    Yes he does.
So does Kuss, Powless and Simmons.
Love the comment from Quinn “you keep banging your head against the door it’s gotta open sometime right?”

Also…max respect for Marc Soler. Puking his guts out all day, finished, but outside the time limit.

Insult to injury - Majka’s chain snap yesterday caused a muscle tear and now he’s out.

    Wow, didn’t see that coming…
Was thinking UAE was going to leave Pogacar unprotected for the final climb
    Impressive stage by McNulty
Amazing slope that he lost 30s after pulling off in the last 300m
Looking at those guys coming in with halting pedal strokes instead of circles was telling

Chapeaux to McNulty for a monster ride - blew Sepp Kuss off the front
Let’s see how much everyone has in the tank tomorrow

ETA - do the fans now yell “Let’s Go Brandon” to encourage him?

2022 TDF Fantasy Challenge (SPOILER ALERT)

Lol, didn’t even change up my designated leader…
(jasper philipsen, you slut, for not winning today! …just gonna leave him there for tomorrow)
Not gonna rise out of 8th for this tour anyway

Tried to go counter to prerace favorite and it didn’t play for me from day one on Van Aert…looks like it’s gonna finish that way too, just turning the screws further

WVA was 42” slower than my predicted time - he must be tired…

What happened to TV coverage? Yes, ITTs are boring as fuck, but some reality show about a bunch of NASCAR clowns is way worse.

1 stage left and only 3 points separate the leaders.
    The Sheriff is near!
