Great race today, despite not picking any riders in the break. Trying to save my credits in case Covid dnfs start to explode, seems like it’s going around the peloton rapidly and they’re trying to cover it up as much as they can

Kat5 is a damn genius picking 5-point Georg Zimmerman who took 6th today. Not to be confused with the guy who shot Trayvon Martin

Tomorrow could be boring or it could be equally explosive
    We’ll see how Pogacar recovers
& Vingegaard for that matter too

    Positive [c19 or other]?
Makes you wonder if a c19 result was suppressed to keep the maillot jaune in the the race

either way: i hope not — i want to see him fight it out cuz you know he wants to

Its tough to imagine a healthy Pog finishing behind Gaudu under any circumstances

Thanks for the hype. Had to think JV would try something and Vingo shines on those longer climbs as we saw today. We've got ourselves quite the race going forward

Could say the same thing about Quintana, Bardet, Thomas and Yates as well.
Jumbo took the fight to Pogacar on Galibier, who had no help, while the few remaining Ineos guys just hung on.

The comment about Pogo attacking tomorrow is interesting.

I’ve already changed my Road Captain for tomorrow three times. Pinot (Bastille Day)? Pogo? Vingo?

I disagree. Bardet was a surprise today but he was in the fight for yellow several times not that long ago and he's finished on the podium in paris twice. The others are all strong riders who have suffered from bad luck the past few years. Its easy to forget how good Quintana is since he was injured for most of 2020 and 2021 but he's been setting records on climbs all year in smaller races and he's won 2 grand tours and 3 TDF podiums, and he's only 32 (hard to believe since he's been a grand tour contender for a decade). Thomas won the tour in 2018 and won Suisse so he's clearly at his best. Yates finished a very close second to Pog on both mountaintop finishes at the UAE tour this spring and he's probably one of the top 5 climbers in the world, just not very consistent.

I'm going with the guy who has the record on the Alpe D'Huez (not including dopers who were caught) - Nairo

2022 TDF Fantasy Challenge (SPOILER ALERT)

What could be very interesting is if IneosGrenadiers ganged up on JumboVisma with UAE. I don’t think Ineos has the balls tho — way too conservative, afraid to go for it afaict. It took G a long time to decide to ride past Pogi today for fear of playing into a free tow.

That would be a pretty exciting stage…have Yates, Pidcock test Visma’s resolve to control by taking a flyer that tests the length of leash JV would let them take ahead (since they don’t have to win to keep the yellow jersey [& of course some crazy French guys are gonna try a flyer too]). Some independents could try to wrest back some time: Kamna, Vlasov, Lutsenko, Mas have little to lose…
UAE could send McNulty/Majka up the road early to offer an assist for an attacking Pogacar later.

I think Gaudu & Quintana sit on Vingegard’s wheel until the Alpe then go nuts somewhere on the climb if they haven’t been knocked off his wheel by then.

    Is that dumb or possible?

So the only way to watch today and tomorrow is to pay $5 for a month of Peafuckingcock?

I downloaded the “Peacock Free” app but when I select TDF I get a screen that asks me if I want to pay $4.99 or $9.99. And no way that I can see to get around.
