FS: Trek Checkpoint ALR 5 Gravel Bike Large
SOLD SOLD SOLD
Thnx to radam for connecting me with the buyer.
Willing to ship...will split shipping costs...asking $1,900 and I'll arrange delivery to you.
I bought a 2021 Trek Checkpoint ALR 5 (large/56cm, aluminum frame/carbon fork) gravel bike in February last year and had a blast riding mostly with Peruvian, Goniff, and Biggins last summer. But the geometry just doesn't work well for me. I'm thinking I would be much happier on a bike with flat bars and rather than try to create a Franken-bike, I want to get a bike that's designed around flat bars. Marin, Norco, Specialized and several others have these flat bar gravel bikes.
This bike is really well-built with pretty high-end and gravel specific components for a "value" bike:
Full specs here: https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/b...alr-5/p/32557/
RideWithGPS says I did 637 miles on it and that seems right. Took 1 tumble on a gravel downhill but I was way more banged up than the bike was...
Pics below...all the attachments are staying with me so you're getting a bike without pedals, rack, phone mount, pump, or bottle cages.
Wheels are tubeless ready but you would need new tires...
I know the asking price is not that far off from retail but good luck finding this bike in stock.Last edited by MyNameIsAugustWest; 09-10-2022 at 04:15 AM.

Bump. No action so wondering if the no shipping clause is the issue or if the price is too high? I saw this exact same bike on Pinkbike and the person was asking $2,700 which is ridiculous.

Back to page 1.
Will split shipping.
Make a reasonable offer if you think the price is too high.
