Step back and think about this for a second. Really.

All schools, all daycares. Every toddler/child is such a likely target that it's not enough to have locked school doors. We need bullet proof glass; fortified doors. Armed guards ready for deadly force. Then there's recess... Gym time in fields. Sporting events. General school time get togethers. Getting to and fro schools. Then, welp. That was a lot of effort but now we can relax...ooopsie. Churches. Parks. Little league. Pop warner. Shopping malls. Turns out, people shoot people at movies....night clubs. Restaurants.

Because why again? Oh that's right. Weirdos and weirdos who fetishize guns above everything else. Irrational. And not only irrational, but securing everything is wildly impractical. The logistics are massive. At best, better secured schools are a mitigation / stop gap. Pushing the shit further down the pipe.

Don't assume bc I'm a gun owner I'm all about plinking. I mainly detonate large military grade munitions and tank caliber artillery. Plinking is for amateurs.

My grandfather was the Artillery Commander of the 12th Armored Division during WWII. My father designed the guidance system for the Pershing Missile System. Let's just say I'm not impressed.

I'd prefer reinstating the AWB, but I'd be happy with starting registration, requiring background checks, waiting periods. Not cheezy insults.
