So, it appears that gun buybacks don’t reduce the number of firearms in circulation. The companies who supposedly destroy the weapons just melt/shred the receivers and resell the rest at auction as parts kits.

When Flint, Mich., announced in September that 68 assault weapons collected in a gun buyback would be incinerated, the city cited its policy of never reselling firearms.

But Flint’s guns were not going to be melted down. Instead, they made their way to a private company that has collected millions of dollars taking firearms from police agencies, destroying a single piece of each weapon stamped with the serial number and selling the rest as nearly complete gun kits. Buyers online can easily replace what’s missing and reconstitute the weapon.

Nobody is defending MTT, we’re pointing out that you’re being an asshole. Your post was random and MTT wasn’t part of the conversation. Be a man and own your shit, or not. We can’t think less of you either way

Apparently Card had a lengthy history of summers spent doing grenade instruction, raising questions about brain injury from blast exposure:

Weird. That vid was uploaded by a Youtube account named "The Quandary" 6 years ago and it's the only vid on the page. Odd that i've been seeing these "blame the toy gun" vids and memes in X, Twitter and Youtube Shorts.

I fact checked this one. It's not from Sears in the 50's. It's a Daisy BB gun add in Life Magazine from the 60's.

    She seems nice

Former Osceola Mills mayor sentenced in shooting, DUI
She gets four months to one year in county jail
In March 2022, Ida Reams, 52, of Osceola Mills, was charged with two counts each of simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person, as well as DUI in relation to an incident when she allegedly shot at two men playing Pokemon Go in an Osceola Mills parking lot.

So I guess it’s OK in PA to blast away at innocent people when drunk, but Not OK to drive when intoxicated

What addiction and mental illness do they have? Seems more like you just being hyperbolic.

Fair enough, but it damn sure wouldn't be your SJG's business either.

I mean, I'm pretty sure those mental illness and addiction things are just going to be, is kinda depressed, and drinks too much, in which case, its outright absurd to think its up to strangers from the internet to dictate who is well enough to own a firearm.

Not sure who BS is but MTT has shown adequate proof on this very forum.

You say that not knowing the context
I feel pretty confident that even you would have been concerned with the scene as it unfolded
I wouldn’t normally comment to pile on that situation, but it was bad
