This one seems not so great as well:

Utah father charged after 4-year-old shot at police outside Midvale McDonald’s
Charging documents state the father initially pulled the gun on an employee after he received an incorrect order in the drive-thru.

It might be a strange concept for many here to grasp, but you don't have to be a extreme right or left wing nut job. In fact, most answers lie in the middle.

When you are adamant that the US president ended the Korean War in 2017 that is indeed a strange concept for many to grasp. With good reason. So is stating that RN’s can prescribe medications. Or that trillions have been spent on student loan forgiveness. All complete bullshit.

Being out of touch with reality and being a flip flopping contrarian concern troll doesn’t equate to being a moderate unless you mean moderately retarded.

It’s got nothing to do with extreme right or left wing views.

But you’ll take any chance to fake the high road and that leaves us to read dumb posts like your last one. At least try to pick better people to back. Your desperation is showing.

Not in a gun free zone. That mall cop wannabe should be arrested. He's probably days away from a meltdown and shooting someone in a road rage incident. Amirite?

FYI. Great place to shop for guns? The parking lot of a gun free zone.

    Talking about gun free zones.

Our idiot hospital system has declared the facilities as GFZ's. Last week, a guy made his way out of the ER and into the OR facilities claiming to have a gun and going to shoot up the place (he didn't have a gun, just pyschotic).

Ironic thing is that the hospital security employees aren't allowed to carry firearms either. And of course the cops are at least 10 minutes away. So in reality, no effective way to neutralize a threat. Great policy Ballad Health.

^require citizens entering any public spaces or businesses to carry a firearm. If you don’t have a firearm, one shall be provided for you.

Hospitals have metal detectors and ours have armed guards at those entry points.

Courthouses have metal detectors and armed guards at those entry points.

Major event venues have metal detectors and most have armed guards and police on premise.

Perhaps it's time for all businesses exceeding X square feet to be required to have similar protocols for entry..

Which is why it should be a felony to leave/lose a gun in the car unattended not in a locked safe anchored to the car chassis... or at least the trunk.. If you're going someplace gun free, leave the gun at home or in a proper installed car safe.

Ballad Health facilities, and there are over 100 of them locally, typically have multiple points of entry, no metal detectors, no armed guards, and apparently no security plan to deal with an armed intruder.

^right? One of the biggest reasons I want to switch careers and be a school nurse is so I can indiscriminately pass SSRI’s out to kids. Bonus points if I get to carry a firearm while doing so.

I am continually baffled by the gun enthusiasts wanting to live in a world that requires major lockdowns in public spaces.

Do they love our current TSA process that much that they think it should be extended to every place one might want to go in town?

As long as we get to carry bangbangsticks, it’s totally worth it to live in a prison?

Yeah what you want is a bunch of good old boys bringing their guns to ER in case they need to have a shoot out with other patients or an out of control battleaxe nurse.

In your case this mentally ill patient coulda been easily neutralized by a concerned citizen there to get their gallbladder out if there were just some common sense applied to these rules…

Change the facts a bit. What if whacko really had a firearm, could the gallbladder patient have handled that too? A bit of a delusionist there don't ya think??
