    because cops aren’t perfect

    because politicians aren’t perfect

    because laws aren’t perfect

….do as little as possible because you can’t achieve perfection

Cops wouldn't need to carry guns regularly either in a perfect world where they were highly regulated and thus super rare. Ya, you can 3d print a lot of the components, but not the ammo. Start with that. .

What that graph shows is that gun deaths and purchases declined after the 1994 AWB and increased after it was allowed to sunset. Shocking. You can’t be this obtuse

No sane and HONEST person really believes the solution to the increasing number of gun tragedies and massacres is more people owning and carrying guns. It's just circular logic and cognitive dissonance because the one thing they fear more than people who are different from them is having to interact with them while unarmed.

We seem to be about due for another mass shootup.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Queue the SCOTUS to overturn the laws keeping people from wandering schools while heavily armed.

This kid was my son's best friend in elementary school through high school. He grew up with a single mom and her endless cycle of boyfriends. Place always smelled like weed when I'd drop him off or pick him up. Still let my kid sleep over there every time they asked, but mostly hung out at our house. We invited him to many events, tried really hard to get him involved in our scout troop. His mom balked on signing the required forms more than once.. He could have joined and done all the activities and trips for free too.

Fuck you to everyone who leaves a gun in their car. Here's the result of that shit.

This story was updated May 22, 2023. One man was killed and another injured Thursday afternoon, the second fatal shooting in the Bull City in under 24 hours. Officers responded to a gunshot wound call in the 300 block of Avon Lake Drive. around 4:32 p.m., according to a Durham Police Department news release. The address is just east of Hope Valley Farms and off Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

They found two men, one of whom was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. On Monday police identified the dead man as 21-year-old Desean Monroe of Durham. Police have not released any other information except to say the shooting does not appear to have been a random incident. It came just hours after Police Chief Patrice Andrews reported an increase in shooting incidents and homicides during a first quarter crime update to the Durham City Council.

He wasn't LARPing as an armed protector of the pre-school just incase a sketchy person with bad intentions showed up?

Progressives, there's too many guns in the hands of people who aren't well regulated enough. Everybody gets pissed off sometimes.. Best that we don't all have guns when that happens

Constatives.. It's caused by mental illness, we need to keep the guns and cure mental illness so nobody ever gets pissed off.

Progressives.. OK let's expand healthcare to reduce untreated mental illness then..

Conservatives .. SoCiAlIsM!!! NO NO NO!!!
