My nieces 14 yr old son (grand nephew ?) got pissed off with the hockey coach and didnt wana play for him so he transitioned over directly to Lacrosse without missing a beat, it would appear the skills are very similar

My son's HS team just won the Washington State 4A (highest division) Championship today. 2nd title in past 3 years. Great way to close out his HS career. Sad that my days of watching youth and HS lacrosse are over.

Yeah, the level of play is definitely below the East, but getting better. We have 1 long pole who is going to play at Manhattan next year and have had a few end up with D1 scholarships.
