I'm gonna have to guess you're not referring to the old Soviet space station.

Got my first big boy job and got married in 1970 to kick off the decade. The Corvair was getting 50 miles / qt of oil so we borrowed a car for a honeymoon road trip to a motel in Gloucester.

I have a buddy that has an entire sheet that he's stored in the freezer for over 40 years. I keep meaning to eat the whole thing to just test out a theory. The timing just hasn't been right should it still hold potency. I suppose I could just dip into it, but it doesn't seem the right thing to do to honor the commitment.

Please leave that to me in your will, or go off with a bang yourself. I'll definitely be there at the party regardless.

I can’t help thinking that we’re headed into terribly dark times.

The top 2 songs for 1970 were "Bridge over Trouble Waters" and The Carpenters "Close To You". Not a lot to choose from.

Yeah. I never was that "into" music. A buddy took me to my first live concert in '68. Guy I'd never heard of. The poster say's "Concert Tonight" "Good Seats for $3... $4... $5"
