I hear ya. Doolittle was released by The Pixies in April of 1989. Slightly downhill from there.
Kurt and the boys copying Frank Black did help a bit.

    90's appreciation thrad

We should open a 90s themed restaurant.

I’m struggling with what to call it. I’ll think of something.

    ‘The Buzz’ ooooo…. Maybe

    Oh. This thing comes together.

    The Erica Wagu burger.

    Candlebox’s famous Cheese Fries

I never had to knock on wood plank salmon

    Burrito in your Head

    Buns and Rose’

9 out of ten kids prefer our nachos to guns (for a small extra charge add smoked pork or our famous fajita beef)

    Blood sugar Brisket Magic

    Smashing Pumpkins Pie

    Better than Ezra’s Gumbo

    Toad the Fried Frog Legs

    Matthew sugar free sweetener

    Filter Water

    Back Street Buffalo Bites

Ninja Tunes Sushi Rolls and nigiri

    Lenny’s fly away chicken salad

    Keks MIT KEINE EIER!!!!

The BlueBells are Ringing famous shakes and malts.

    Live’s Lobster

    Super Star Potato Skins

    You can’t touch our fondue

    Bones-in Thugs and Harmony Wings

    Vanilla Eis

    Garth’s Rodeo Burger

Boys 2 Men’s Room Flaming Hot Chili

Lords of Acid habanero stuffed chili rellano

    I don’t Practice Sangria

Ugly Kid Sloppy Joe - you won’t hate anything about our classic sloppy joe served open face with your choice of cheese as long as you choose sharp cheddar.

Any dish can be served without dairy. Just ask to keep em separated.

Weezer’s “it was good this time, Al” fish special.

    Sound good Garden Salad.

You might know what its like to have our Blue Cheese Burger

Bat out of Hell II: Meatloaf topped with bearnaise sauce, crab meat and a tomato.

Try our Green Day Whiskey Flight: Its starts with a manageable blended whiskey, moves to another manageable blended whiskey and then you finish with three shots of our classic Walgreen's brand hydrogen peroxide!!

The Zombie: venison steak topped with a poached egg served with Cranberry Jam and baby potatoes

Nine Inch Snails: our take on the french classic.

Do You Believe in Liver and Onions

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Class of '99 Wear Sunscreen on our patio. We try to provide parasols, however, we still advise you to take precautions against sun exposure or you are welcome to enjoy dining inside.

So much good music posted in here already. DMB and Beastie Boys excluded, of course. They’re a half step above Creed.

Ha. The thing where they all shout out the last word of every line hurt me. After Sure Shot it was all down hill.

Love me some trip hop. Portishead and Sneakerpimps I think were mentioned briefly above among others.

Nope, I am good but thanks anyway.

For example, Pink Floyd? They peaked well before the Wall. That was what? 1980.... No doubt seeing them in concert was awesome but what were they playing from the 90s?

Yeah there was a bunch of music in the 90s and if you were the right age it made a lasting mark on your life. Same with the 60s, 70s and 80s.

I had moved to Big Sky in 91 and the top of the charts in our locker room was Back in Black- AC/DC..... released in 1980. Up to that point I DNGAF about AC/DC but its now part of my soundtrack we all carry in our heads.

First of all you clearly don't know shit about modern music, and second, kids today don't give a fuck what you think of their music, just like all of us didn't give a fuck what our parents thought of our music when we were young.

    Thong Song?

Came out my freshman year in college, the heavens opened and god’s light shined down on me.

Every girl on earth was showing off their thong underwear.

Pink Floyd without Roger Waters, Van Halen without DLR, Michael Jackson without original nose.
