Skiing sailing in Norway
Well trip started a little fucked up. One kids passport was expired. Everyone crushed. But…figured out she could get a ln appointment in El Paso for same day passport…acquired….now mom and daughter in Seattle catching flight to Alta tonight and land just in time to make boat.
Meanwhile Samantha and I had a few hours in amsterdam, then on to Alta minus 2 bags that are about to be delivered.

The passport expiration is classic! We almost did the same thing last fall. Discussed a last minute trip to le massif to ski and my wife's passport was expired.

We were thinking we would be skiing corn but the area got a meter and 13 cm so north facing pow seems very likely.

First day of skiing under our belts. 959m summit. Skiing was great at the top, heavy at the bottom. All 4 of a made it but it was a long day with jet lag.

Skiing sailing in Norway
Day 2, pictures not so great due to visibility but great fun. Open ocean crossing to this fjord left me a little green….
Skinning to 890m today
Summit selfies
Creek crossing
So impressed with both kids. 12 year old is glued to the guide, 11yr mid pack.
Our ride is a 50ft Bavaria that sleeps 12 in 5 berths, 3 bathrooms.
4 hour sail after skiing was again rough and we had an electrical issue so no heat or water but now resolved.
