Well it appears that 4th quarter Russell Wilson is the same no matter what team he plays for.

Who knew that the Dolphins, Eagles and potentially Giants would be the best teams in the league?

    What a bizzaro-world season

100%. Slow all night. Slow on his reads, slow on his release, and damn sure didn't look "top 5 alltime".
Neither team won that game. And it wasn't a matter of "great defense". Just a matter of incompetence.

Wait, someone called Russell Wilson top 5 all-time?

Shit my top 5 since 2000 would be Brady, Manning, Rogers, Brees, Mahomes. Mahomes is “only” 5th due to time but I fully expect he will be in the top 3 soon. Nevermind Marino, Elway, Montana etc.

I feel so badly that we Seahawks fans didn’t adequately warn the Bronco Boosters that this is exactly what you are going to get with Russ. He makes just the right amount of plays to keep his team in the game, and hopefully the Defense will shut the door on the opponent. You’re not going to win a bunch of games in blowout fashion, mostly 1-score tilts.

All that said, Jeudy flat out dropped a perfect deep ball that could have been a TD pretty easily… that would have changed the game a bit.

Putting aside that my 49ers are garbage on offense... holy shit giving Russell Wilson that extension until he's 40 is not going to age well for Denver.

Still coulda/shoulda caught it. Broncos had a bunch of drops actually. Their receiving corp looks like shit. And whoever is calling the plays appears to have zero imagination.

What's crazy is they should be 3-0.

The core problem is not playcalling, or the pass catchers, it's Russ.
He looks slow, indecisive, rattled and inaccurate. Not a good combo. That offense should get better, but the immobile, Checkdown Charlie version of Russ isn't very scary.
The AFC West isn't meeting the offseason hype!

Imma go with gelling. Russ and the kids aren't gelling all the way just yet. New system. New teammates. New coaches. Give it a couple more weeks and we'll see if they can hit their stride in time for a playoff run. I'm not Russ apologist as I've never been that fond of him but this shit is complicated and, for me at least, it seems a little early to write him off as an over the hill Checkdown Charlie.

In news no one cares about, the NFL is doing away with the Pro Bowl and replacing it with a week-long skills competition.

    What's changed?

Are we talking about the same pros that usually flock to Super Bowls?

It's not often I'm cited as anyone's inspiration so I'm gonna take this win and call it a day.
