Seriously. He's not playing great now. He had a rough season when he broke his finger. But other than that, he was consistently one of the best QBs both in statistics and winning percentage. If you want to say otherwise, that's your right, but you are just being a hater.

He did become a bit of a diva that many of us in Seattle were blind to because we wanted to be. He gave me a lot of great memories, so I hope he turns it around. I find no pleasure in seeing him struggle.

Personally I think he injured himself a few seasons ago and never has recovered.

Wilson had a good running game and a good D, and I'd put him right there with the Cutlers, Romos, and Andy Daltons of the 2010's.
This is a bullshit list, look at the stats… interesting thought experiments though!

Also several of those are locks for HOF

Rankings are always challenging, but I think Russ was a top 3-7 QB for a lengthy stretch of his career.
We've been spoiled by Rodgers and Brady playing elite ball in their late 30s and 40s, but some QBs fall off a cliff fast. Broncos fans saw it with Manning!
I don't know if he's completely cooked, but he's a shell of himself right now.

I don’t get why they keep saying Russ is a future HOF. Does 1 SB win get him in?

    Is Russ Wilson Joe Flacco?

Holy shit this is dumb. I’m a RW hater and now I have to defend him. Look up his career stats.

    Yup.

The Broncos O Line is bad. Their receivers (despite the hype we've been hearing for years) were below average before Tim Patrick tore up his ACL. Their running back that didn't shred his knee can't hold onto the ball. Their rookie head coach may well be the worst in the league. Not only is a he a terrible game manager, he basically gave the starters the entire preseason off, and ran a bunch of low intensity, walkthrough practices. None of the Broncos coordinators have ever been a coordinator before. And it looks like it.

I can't stand Russ, but he is good at football. He is in a crap situation.

I haven't followed Russ super closely since his season in Wisconsin, but I've definitely at least kept a casual interest. What is it people don't like about him? Is he preachy.

Yeah, the trolls are out in force on this one. Remember when people were asking if Joe Flacco was "elite" after he won the super bowl? Lots of discussion and consensus was No. Do you remember that discussion with RW? No one does because it didn't happen. It was no question that he was elite to anyone who had eyeballs and watched a game.

Is he still elite? Now that's a real question to discuss and early evidence suggests otherwise. Let's see how the season plays out before we bury the guy, though.

I feel for you, TahoeJ. Defending RW and having Jimmy G as your starting QB after the team hoping he would be gone all summer.

WTF did Michael Dickson just do in the Hawks game?! That was an incredibly stupid move.

Wow. Apparently if you textbook sack Tom Brady that’s considered roughing the passer.

Skol! Can’t it ever be easy. Vikes are the worst 4-1 team in the league.

    Oh it’s there.

Just too busy feeling the effects of that Guards win though so the Brownies get a pass today.

Bills spread must have been a typo. 34 point favorites, not 14!

We know Josh is a star, but that defense is lights out. That will matter in January.

    Bring on the Chiefs !

    5-0!
It makes perfect sense...until you think about it.

I suspect there's logic behind the madness, but I'm too dumb to see it.
