First date with the Jets went so well they are flying to GB to see him in person.

I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up for the Rodgers to the Jets trade.

All of the reports are saying they are flying to GB. So that's where I got that. He is probably in town to talk with GB leadership and work on any details of a trade/retirement/etc.

Hurts is like 35th on the QB $$ list right now at less than $2 mil. What a steal for Philly, and yeah, Hurts is going to get PAID when it's his turn.

Which is fair, but now Saquon will be 27 when he hits FA in 2024, and worth a lot less even if he stays healthy.

I have a hard time feeling like Saquon is ratfucked. For one, he's an NFL player getting paid millions. Two, he had a great year but he has such an injury history that he doesn't really warrant a long term big money deal, IMO.

But that Jones contract is a hudge overpay. No way he would have gotten that money from anyone else.
