I'll be at the Bangor show with a small crew.....down in the PIT. Won't be able to make the maggot gathering....hanging with family and friends I haven't seen in a long time. It's sure to be a good time tho! Looking forward to crushing some shellfish!

Anyone coming over can confirm by PM-ing me for the address and directions to my home. For travel planning purposes, people can arrive anytime on Wednesday July 13 and stay through Sunday July 17.

I’ll start putting together a list here. I’ll provide more info on the layout and get numbers for things like lobster and green bud soon.

I’ll be on the road this weekend with my kid for Michael Franti & Spearhead and then the Tedeschi Trucks Band show in NH.

You know I'm in for the gathering...probably going to arrive midday on Friday.

See you at TTB at Meadowbrook (aka BNH Pavillion)!

While they have shells, lobsters aren't technically shellfish, they're crustaceans. I know lots of people that can't eat clams/oysters/mussels but can eat lobster and shrimp.

I sold a decked canoe (mad River monarch) to a fellow driving from Michigan to Vermont. Probably rides better in kayak racks. We have alternative plans to get the boat to him, but if anyone was willing to transport to Vermont he would be very happy.

FWIW - I was joking about a shellfish allergy. Hell I've had geoduck and conch, no boiled bugs are gonna take me down (unless I get burned by boiling water gushing from a shedder).

Sorry to miss this. I have a work obligation and can't attend, at least someone else can have my dibs on the yoga instructor / climbing guide / personal chef / masseuse.

I definitely owe you one. I should be able to get the boat to SoVT. If he's going to NoVT, Peruvian may be able to assist.

    I know I have these

but not sure if this will work with my cross bars in place.

I might also have some saddle racks like these

which should work just fine and will probably work better with my bike rack (although I can just barely fit my bike inside my car if need be).

Brother you don’t owe me anything, but it would be a great help. He is going to a family gathering in southern Vermont. Will send a message

So is there a general plan or schedule for this shindig? What sort of fun (trouble?) can we get into on Saturday before the show and then on Sunday?

Bike ride...boating...shell collecting...MILF watching in Bah Hahbah?

Or maybe we just all eat a bunch of mushrooms and figure it out from there.

No real schedule, but mornings are good for hiking or powerboating before the wind comes up, afternoons are good for sailing when the wind fills in, and evening bike rides are sublime in the cool forest. I always sort of take what the day and weather gives me.

I’d bring hiking shoes and daypack, bicycle and bike lights if you have them. I can provide all the boats… power, sail, and sea kayaks.

PM me your planned arrival and how many are in your group… I’ll reply with the address.

Looks like a Friday July 15 evening bike ride followed by a BBQ and campfire would be good. Come as early as Wednesday July 13…

I for one can’t wait to hear the trip report.
Intense debates regarding the best arthritis meds, who stayed up real late like til midnight, which guy got up the most to pee overnight and who is ‘bone on bone’, if you know what I mean.

y’all probly skew young tho for a phish concert.

    have fun.
