    WTB ice axe

Need something roughly 60cm for my son and I. Straight shaft for some pass travel this year. I usually rent from the
Local college outdoor center but it’s getting to be a pain.

Once OP is all set I could use one for Shasta next month, PM me please don't want to cut the line. I only have shorter ice tools. For Avalanche gulch up shasta you just need it for just-in-case for self arrest, right? New Englander here...
    I could also just rent.

75 is too long for me. That would be a walking stick for my short legs.

For shasta you just need an axe for self arrest. Tbh a whippet is serviceable unless you ski it in really frozen condition.

I do have a 52 cm petzl summit 2 id sell for $80 shipped.

Never heard back from anyone on shipping. I’m assuming likely a pain. In slc area today. I’ll be in Vancouver the back half of next week and back to slc next weekend.
