My kid spent a lot of time skiing Charleston last winter although I don't think he would be doing big multiple drop lines--not by himself. I think he ran into a total of one person there. Was last winter a good year on Mt. Charleston--will he be disappointed in winters to come? He gets to climb it plenty in the summer--it's Currahee for LV military folks.

    Then we did it.

Then I got pissed off and worked on another line for another 5 years:

    Then skied it solo.

Then I stopped taking photographs of lines.
    Nice!

I don't really follow their storms or snowfalls. We've been having mostly good years down here and I imagine our storm tracks are fairly similar.

If they get a good one that terrain sure does look nice. Perfect tree skiing I hear.

Looks like a good time. Dudes need 20 less lbs on their ski setups but, ah to be young.

Lebanon has always been on my list. I just re-read the Ski Journal article on it from 7.2. Big mountains, lots of terrain and sometimes lots and lots of snow

Whenever I fly over mountains, its easy to look down and pick-out heliski routes and LZ's.Click image for larger version.
