WTB - Feelers for entry level side country or 50/50 touring set up

looking to see whats out there available for start up ski touring set ups? Took my brother 1 time last year on borrowed gear and he loved it so looking to get him entry level set up. I know not ideal but something he can resort ski and 1-2 day tour a year would be great.

I have a pair of 188 K2 Apache Coombas with nice BD ascension skins I'd pass along for $75 shipped. 1.5 mounts for classic Dynafit hole pattern, open holes could fit up to 325mm bsl, down to 313mm with a little room on either side. Other set of holes probably get you down to 285mm or so. You'd need to find bindings--verticals, comforts, og speed turns.
