Free (somewhat broken) Stockli Stormrider SR95

    **SOLD**

Stockli Stormrider SR 95 192 cm from the good years! Mounted once at recommended for STH2 at 313mm.

If you know, you know. Probably my favorite everyday ski ever. Always meant to fix my own fucking edge compression, but never got to it.

Core looks to be a bit damaged also, but if you are a fan of these skis and want a repair project, or need a single, let me know. Since the damage they’ve been dry in garage.

Free local pick up in Seattle east side area. If you covet these like I do, I’d ship at your expense.

Ouch! That exact ski is my dd and I wouldn't mind having a spare just in case. Mission Ridge tends to be brutal on skis. I live in Winthrop but make it over there on occasion and our son lives in Tacoma if you're ever down that way. If you could hold them till I can arrange to pick up (may take a while) I would love to take them. PM me if you have any questions.

Is a garage in Seattle ever really considered dry?

Hitting a thinly covered rock outcrop really hard.

And there is a dedicated thread here about fixing your own fucking edge compression!

Is it just me or does that core look a lot like horizontally laminated plywood? I.e. the stuff we made fun of 333 skis for?

I’ll be damn yes there is a dedicated thread.

I’m surprised that the edge is bent that much and there is very little damage to the ptex….

Yeah I hear you... but that's why I'm surprised at the image.

Or maybe I'm seeing it wrong?

Or maybe plywood isn't all that bad?

    I dunno.

Some of the wood splintered out at the impact site, and the core material was crushed a bit there also, which I think is showing in the pic to look like horizontal laminations. It’s certainly solid.

However they constructed these, they got it right. It was a hard impact to do this damage.
