    And Splugen

If I get to count 5 total, that might put me over 40!

while your premise is accurate, i am constantly amazed at how many good lifelong skiers i know that ski at the same place almost exclusively year after year. some people really like their routines and just don't crave the varieties in life as i do...

Has anyone skied at over 100 ski resorts?

Yep. 140ish days a year and haven't left the RFV in years.

    Different strokes.

Yep, I will gladly take the hundreds (thousands?) of days I've skied on Lone Peak over all the multitudes of inferior resorts skied for the sake of "variety." [emoji13]

That said I've never actually added up all the different places I've skied. Nothing that compares to these lists though.

Thread police: some of these are awfully interconnected.
But I'd grant you Gemsstock, Nätschen/Dieni and Sedrun/ Disentis.
We have to conduct this thread in an orderly manner. [emoji6] Unless you've been there before BBI when they really didn't have the Schneehühmerstock chair and gondola connection.

For me, Hard'ack is a 3 hour drive to ski 141 vert. Probably not going to happen. I need to get back and ski S6 this year (last time I skied it was the day before I got married) so Quechee would be an easy detour on the way home. I did give $100 to Brattleboro last year when they were raising funds for snowmaking so that's gotta count for something. Lyndon is a tough call. If I'm driving that far, I'm going to hit Burke or Jay.

i’ve seen two people count Banff Sunshine separately. were they separate resorts once?
Mt. Norquay is closer to Banff and is definitely a separate area from Sunshine Village. It's been only a few years that Sunshine Village has renamed itself to Banff Sunshine, probably to associate the ski area to Banff's lodging `20 minutes drive away.

But I'd grant you Gemsstock, Nätschen/Dieni and Sedrun/ Disentis.
Euro splits are not always clear cut. Gemsstock is definitely separate. Nätschen and Dieni are connected by lifts and ski runs, so not sure where you would divide them. In 2019 I turned around at Dieni and headed back to Nätschen. Sedrun's lifts were not obviously visible from Dieni (though weather as deteriorating so we didn't look carefully) so I say Sedrun/Disentis is separate.

Just did a back of the napkin calculation and came up with 50 ski areas/resorts that I've skied. Sadly, no Japanese resorts on the list just yet.
