AK now 2022?
Anyone up there now? Primarily looking at Valdez.
How is the stability? Snow?
What are the best weather sites for AK? Any gnarly wind events coming in the foreseeable forecast? Thinking about a last minute strike mission.
Any preference on operators these days? Last time I went it was with ARG and they are not operating this year
I will miss chillin in the parking lot staring at northern lights and Billy while enjoying some beverages.

i check windy. For current weather I look at the Faa weather cams. https://avcams.faa.gov/
Looks like no high pressure for the next 10 days. NE winds may keep Thompson Pass flyable.
shoot in my opinion. Visibility could be rough. On windy you can look at predictions for cloud cover and visibility as well as new snowfall predictions. Could be a lot of talking about how good it was last time in the next 10 days.

3rd edge is great given the various mountain ranges that are within range with a single group model, but damn is that op expensive.

So, if you could go next week, would ya? Will the famous AK weather cooperate? Looks like storm next cple days, then maybe again Monday?
Think the ANC - Valdez flight will go Sunday afternoon or Monday?
Trying to debate skipping Mini Comish's SL race of W. US Regionals to get the Sunday flight to Valdez v staying and getting there Monday?
Then it's will it clear for a few days next week?

Wish I knew. Only know they aren't operating this year. If I go next week I might find out more...
