Colorado mags, 2 things: these city unis are terrible; and what’s up with all the Tribe fans at these games? It’s like a home game on the big plays!
Those unis debuted when I was there last week. They are awful.

Yes, that’s the way it is at Coors when any of the bigger market/well known teams are in town. It’s hilarious.

Ok then, well condolences on the unis; I guess replacing each players name with “native” was a bridge too far? Lol.

Sucks about the home field advantage for the visiting team at your own park, but I was happy to hear/see it these past two nights!

cant imagine why anyone would leave the greater Cleveland area for CO....

Amazing the Dodgers still have 2 of the best pitchers in the game with Kershaw, Urias, Buheler all struggling/hurt.

    That's the joke.

I'm pretty sure when Ohio lost half of its population over the past 50 years 1/2 went to the Front Range and the other 1/2 went to South Carolina.

Guards go for the sweep today!

Oh, and for those keeping track at home, last night the most underappreciated MVP caliber player in baseball went 4-5 with a run on his "night off".

    This is good news:

    https://twitter.com/twithersAP/statu...7Ctwgr%5Etweet

"AP sources confirm Guardians minority share going to private equity investor David Blitzer. Deal is for 25-30% with rights to take control in five or six years."

Apparently this is Blitzer's 8th investment in a sports team including the Steelers, 76ers, NJ Devils, and 5 soccer clubs including Crystal Palace and Real Salt Lake.

    Come on big money...

I think everyone likes ramirez. who wouldn't appreciate a top offensive player that gives his team a discount to stay there long term? that's the dream.

Judge looked fine last night. Shame the umps only give him 2 strikes per at bat. He got rung up on stuff 4 or 5 inches off the plate. I don't know if the umps hate him or if he's so big the strike zone is distorted.

Here's a video of eight calls over two days earlier this year...

More of the same last year:

And last night there were a bunch of these:

    https://www.mlb.com/video/shane-mccl...n-judge-modtng

Overall the umps do a pretty good job (except not knowing the rules for relievers) but i would not mind taking the strike zone out of their hands, the players know the zone much better than they do.

I think its because Judge is so big he gets more strike calls.

I'm impressed by how well it seems the Umps are doing behind the plate this year (with the exception of Angel Hernandez who is so shitty its been held up in court).

I mean, two of the Ks I saw were swinging, so nothing to do with the calls. The game was Angel's crew so the whole thing was a crap shoot.

Leave it to Yankees fans to complain even when they win....

well if you are forced to swing at junk because they’re calling stuff 6” off the plate, then you have to swing at junk.

A’s really tried to give it away to the Sox today, but Trevor Story basically lost them the game. I think he was 0-3 with RISP and had the error that led to the 3 A’s runs.

Nah, keep it coming. Baseball stoke is baseball stoke and raises the chatter around here.

I’m a big Lindor fan and really wish he would’ve accepted the Tribe’s offer, but I get taking the money. After seeing Ramirez, who’s crushing Frankie in stats ever since Lindor was traded, take the hometown discount, I’m even more thankful they spent the money on him instead.

Doesn’t hurt that Andres Gimenez, one part the Tribe got back for Frankie is hitting better, has a better slash line than Lindor and a 2.7 WAR to Frankie’s 1.6 makes losing him that much easier too.

Cleveland fans will still give him a standing O when he comes back to the Jake regardless. And that’s perfectly fine.

Guards sweep the Rox today, big series coming up after KC: LAD, MIN, BOS and NYY. We will know how for real the youngest team in baseball is after this stretch.
