8th inning, down 2, 2 outs. Wild pitch on the 3rd strikeout, ground rule double, seeing eye hits and base knocks brought 11 Guards to the plate and saw 6 men score to take the win 8-4.

I would guess that for most major league ballplayers (any sport) it is a chaotic and pressure filled life.

Dodgers lost their best pitcher for the season, their 1st ballot HOFer for a while and still have the 2nd. 3rd and 6th best pitchers based on ERA in the NL plus May and a sick bullpen.

I saw someone mention that the Giants should let Bonds come back to pinch hit in a game in order to reset his HOF clock. Does anyone know if that would actually work?
