If the Braves fail to re-sign Freeman I will be very peeved.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Apparently it’s between Los Doyers and Los Bravos.

    Yeah, I hate the Dodgers.

Word is AA will have the last chance to meet or beat any Dodgers offer.

However Freeman is from Orange Country and supposedly loves the Angels and I could see him wanting to finish out near his hometown.

Yanks get Josh Donaldson from the Twins in a package that sends Gio Urshela back.

    That’s a win for MIN.

More important for the Yankees, they get Kiner -Falefa and unload Sanchez. Torres can go back to 2nd where he belongs. Win for NY

Don't forget all the annoyingly goofy shit that comes with Donaldson. That's got to be worth something.

Finish out? He's only 32! I guess that's the reality in pro sports. Some guys can keep being productive till they're 40, but it's not the norm.

When I look at Freddie I remember seeing him when he made his debut with the Bravos... in 2010. That's a long ass time ago! Happy he got his ring, and understand going out to get top dollar, but it would seem really weird to leave the Bravos right after he helped get them that Pennant.

ETA: Welp, it appears that Freddie may be heading out the door after all. Bravos will apparently acquire 1B Matt Olson from the A's.

Freddie is a 100% class act, even if his veneers are a bit much.

Shame if he goes to the Angels, we'll never hear about him again.

I looked at the Mariners schedule this year and my birthday falls on a get-away day, so a 12:40 start. Seems like a good plan assuming my wife and I can both get off work that day. I always enjoy a midweek day game.

Anthopolous needed to hedge his bets and acquiring Olson was that hedge.
