What, your ballpark doesn’t have a forest in the outfield?

Better now than in October I guess, but it is getting painful to watch.

    Six parks in six days

It’s Ryan Zimmerman number retirement today, too. The whole place is going wild. Super fun.

Fenway for sure! But I’m a little biased. Citizens Bank was cooler than expected, I’ve always loved Nationals Park, Camden had a great vibe even with hardly anyone there.

I was really underwhelmed by Yankee Stadium, but again I’m biased.

As a lifelong Sox fan who grew up a few miles from Fenway, I agree. But I’m biased.

    I really like Camden.

I used to go to the old Yankee stadium often when I lived there and the new one pales in comparison IMO.

I’m so glad the Sox didn’t execute that plan where a new Fenway would be built next door and the current park torn down and made into a park.

Yeah. I mean, fuck the Yankees, officially, but the fans in the park definitely bring the juice. Without them the stadium would feel really sterile. I keep comparing it to an airport terminal.

Citi field had most of the juice and was actually an interesting stadium

    Nice trip Supermoon
Citi is the better park and a huge upgrade from Shea, Yankees Stadium sterile as fk and they ruined the environs moving it

Yeah last word I’d call the bleachers at yankee stadium is sterile. Make sure you’re up to date on all vaccinations and wash your hands!

Compared to the bleachers at the original it's like an operating room, plus you can't follow the worn path from the bowling alley to the bleacher entrance across the street

Good to see Urias and the Dodgers finally look like what we expected last night.
No idea if this team will get it together.

Took down Kershaw in an epic duel and won today in come from behind fashion to take 2/3 from the Doyers in their own house.

Nice job by the youngest squad in baseball!

I grew up in NYC, was in the Bronx 5 days a week, and never once went to Yankees stadium. Because fuck the Yankees.

OUr lack of real outfielders exposed by Mookie Injury. Too many Utility guys in outfield leads to Es
    combine with a shakey closer?

Great series win for the Gs.

& Danno your hate made you miss out on seeing a game at one of the true cathedrals of baseball.

Never forget when I first moved East in 06 and saw games in Fenway, Yankee Stadium ( Opening DDAY!) and Wrigley all on works travel dime ( paid for the non Yankees tix)

I'm ok with that. I grew up in NYC and have been a baseball fan my whole life, I know what "Yankee Stadium" represents to baseball history. It's a history that I want no part of celebrating, my life will not be richer for having set foot in the cathedral of satan. YMMV, of course.

    Re2pect.

I went to old yankee stadium right before they moved (2006?). Just to visit once. Not even sure who they were playing. Went in before first pitch, game got rained delayed until the next day. Sold my ticket to some absolute mouth breathing window licking chimp outside the stadium, hit the liquor store for a 40 and train back to Norwalk.

    OFFICIAL MLB 2022 THREAD

I was sitting in the upper deck of the old Yankee Stadium with my wife and our good friend who’s a huge Yankee fan. I was there to just hang out, and silently cheer against them.
During the game, some asshole mouth breathing Yankee fan came out of nowhere, grabbed my shoulder and said we were in his seats. He was threatening to punch not only me but my wife and our female friend. Finally the usher came, figured out his seat was actually 10 rows further down and called security, since he wouldn’t STFU. Classy!

Cole has a no hitter through 7. Don’t know if I’d rather see history, or would rather not deal with the Yankees fans here

    Edit: luckily not an issue
