The stats are fucked this year. 3 snowshoers and 3 dogs dead. Bunch of close calls and one skier.
Weird year. Really tells you about the proliferation of the BC since covid.

Near miss in CB during the same event. 15ft debris pile ft away from hitting a dog walker. Really challenging endeavor to reach users who have no intent to enter avalanche terrain, and no awareness that they are doing so.
