Halp! Anyone know of a Specialized Crux 56cm in stock?

    Desperate times...

I'm looking for a new gravel bike and before I go with something else, I'd really like to fill my hankering for a New Specialized Crux.

I'd go Expert, but would prefer PRO.
    Size 56

Location isn't overly important. I'll burn some frequent flyer miles if needed to pick it up.

Thanks for any help anyone has.

    Go here: https://www.specialized.com/us/en/cr...ext=91422-1156

Then click on "Find Nearby" and put in your zip code. It says Criterium in the springs has it. Give them a call to confirm. I used this to get my Epic Evo a year ago when finding stock was very challenging.

Looks like you should travel to Oklahoma so you don't have to get the "Gloss Coral Lilac Fade/Carbon/Limestone/Papaya/Grey/Black" color way, yuck!
I'll ask my local Spec dealer if they have one on the way.

I actually don’t mind that schizophrenic paint scheme. The other one is a lot more classy tho

It actually looks good in person, West Hill Shop just custom built a 56. I picked it up and started laughing. It’s insanely light.
I’m still waiting on my expert in the forest green.

Yeah I found a frame online and built it up with Grx 2x di2. Might be easier than locating a complete bike…

I've been trying to use that, but it's proving to be inaccurate.

Hoping that people have seen eyes on bikes. Have a few more calls to make today.

It's somewhat comical that in this day and age the majority of bike shops can't keep inventory on their website. I'll guarantee there's a lonely bike sitting out there somewhere and it'll be impossible to find.

Ironically they list no Crux? Cruxes? Cruxi? on their website

I swear Bangtail in Bozeman had one a few months back. It's probably sold by now but could be worth a call just to triple check since they might not be selling a lot of high-dollar bikes in Jan/Feb.

Thanks for the heads up. (I bought my first Road Bike - A Cannondale Six13 - there!)

    Specialized says it's a Comp.
I might go that route, sell the parts and build the frame.
No Sales tax almost makes the flight up worth it.

I have an Expert on hold

    **Found someone**

    For future reference:
    1. They need to go to the store with a label that I created through BikeFlights.
    2. They'll sign for the bike, hand off the label and the shop will box and leave for UPS.

Kinda a circuitous route, but I suppose it gets the job done.
