I'm surprised Putin isn't driving the lead invasion tank shirtless and single handily claiming the territory Rambo style while being live streamed. Maybe even have Trump on facetime setting up a golf date to lend him some more money.

What if NATO put together a clause stating if Russian invades they will annex Ukraine, enabling actions taken by NATO.
Turkey could close off the Bosphorus Strait to Russian commercial and military ships. AKA a sanction with some real impact.

I feel like a different leader than Putin could have allowed Russian and Western interests to align. It would be a better world with Russia as our friend than our enemy.

Putin was a kgb colonel, not an armored division commander. I may be wrong, but I think it will be death by a thousand cuts. He wants to topple this govt and so far he’s done a lot of damage just moving pieces around on the chessboard. I’d be surprised if moved fast and attacked outside of these two Donbas states. Unless the Ukrainians send everything they’ve got down there, then he’ll just put pressure on them from another direction.
