So bring up the longboards and your favorite whiskey n fixins and let's party.

Still here offering my spare pairs to anyone interested. I have at least 4 that need to get out of my basement. Free. Or booze. Or hookers and blow. Or gas. ;-)

and.... Fuck! I'm booked that weekend elsewhere.

This party has been happening for close to 20 years. The far out old dudes have never had a problem with the straight and narrow.

FWIW, the ACL and MSL injury rate went way up with the proliferation of shaped skis... And, that's part of the reason that GS went back to 35 meter skis from 21 meter skis a few years ago..

These are all available for free or hookers and blow. All in decent shape or better. Keeping my fave pair. All are 210, maybe a little longer. There's also a pair of seriously vintage Rossi Stratos not pictured.

Need them out of the basement. The two outside pairs have demo clamps, others I'm not sure about BSL but you know how to mount your shit, right?

    Come and get 'em.

Did you use the marine epoxy and set those Hexcels upside down to dry when you mounted those 900s on them?

I think you're referring to the fact that their honeycomb construction required special mounting procedures.....? I don't know if I did exactly that, but if memory serves I did do something. No memory of what, but I recall knowing they needed some extra attention, and giving it to them. Likely straight epoxy. They've been skied on with no issues. I think Iridewithdogs had 'em for a while.

You're actually supposed to insert an L shaped tool(bent bicycle spoke) into each hole and spin it around to break the honeycomb cells around the holes, creating a pocket under the topsheet. Then inject epoxy, mount and cure upside down

Yah they are, someone pinged me about them earlier. If they bail they're all yours. They're a hoot. Base to base the camber makes about a 6 inch gap between them, and they're mounted with very OG explodomats.

A lovely feast to honor Alpental's emeritus mayor. Maybe the 210s touch snow. Who knows.

In the meantime, my legs are feeling the weekend's High-Ts and Nash laps. Great to see everyone.
