Change Your Old Stale Passwords! Hackers at work!

Hi, this is a reminder that hackers have been getting into accounts with stale old passwords and causing mayhem scamming people in gear swap.

Update your passwords, be wary in gear swap, report suspect activity!

Sorry for putting this message so many places at once, especially for those of you seeing it for the 15th time…but we’ve found the sticky thread in gear swap wasn’t getting the exposure it needed.
Let’s get this place secure again, bump the thread, spread the word.

Do you think that we remember our passwords?

Have TGR email you a link to reset, you don’t need to enter a password to do that, at least I didn’t using the app.

    That’s a good question.

AFAIK, the people who make those decisions don’t post here, so it’s unlikely you’ll get a direct response.

This thread is just about us, maggots, doing our best with simple things we can control.

Right on. I suppose I get what I pay for...but it is odd. This seems like a fairly active forum, and I honestly do not recall it changing in my time here. I submitted a password reset issue to I think an email address, never heard a word.

Can we do a two step verification?
