Has anyone dared share a link to this thread to the frothy mess over in that Joe Rogan thread? I peeked in and it was like mid-season ECRC, but with bigger egos.
I still call it The Jake.

Approximately 90% of human history occurred before soup was invented just over 20,000 years ago.

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Matter can be effectively destroyed via conversion to energy through nuclear fission or fusion.

It converts to something else, it’s not totally destroyed. What’s the matter with you.

We are as far away right now from new years day 2000 as new years day 2000 was to December 1977.

Lack of toilets is a leading cause of death. So glad to have a toilet.

I got up early this morning, went outside, and looked up at the stars.
A constant reminder that we are surrounded, yet simultaneously alone.
I opened a garage door to get my ski gear, and a robin flew in out of the cold.
A reminder that my creature comforts are great, compared to some.
I put my skis in my friends' car, and we went for an early morning XC ski. I'm a XC beginner, and fell hard twice on the descent back to the car.
A fresh perspective on what it means to be out of my element in an environment where I usually feel at home (on alpine skis that is).

Please no. The longer we can keep SumJongGuy over there and not in here, the better.

I figured this out at my first ever concert. New Stepdad brought Mom, older brother (13) and me (10) to a Molly Hatchet/Kansas concert to try and be the cool new Dad. Folks started passing doobies around and Mom had us pull our t-shirts up over our mouth and nose so we wouldn’t get high. Then this happened… Dust in the Wind, dude. I knew right then and there that the marriage wouldn’t last… but also that everything is impermanent and transitory. Soon after, I got the munchies and ate a whole bag of cold, soggy popcorn. We are all on our way to being cold. soggy popcorn past our prime.
