Where to Live for Backcountry Skiing

    Hi,
Looking to move somewhere to backcountry ski for the 2022-23 season, with an eye toward a permanent move. Mainly skiied Whistler (although I'm US-based), and while I generally prefer steep powder, I'm currently looking for low-angle, less than 30 degrees, since I'll be skiing primarily alone. (I know, I know, but due to a random condition, my odds of surviving covid are 1 in 3, so I prefer my backcountry odds). So due to covid, I need to avoid crowds right now. But longer term, it'd be great if there were a resort nearby.

Any places come to mind? Wondering about somewhere outside Driggs, ID, Ogden, UT, somewhere in ID or MT. But pretty open. I'm currently in WA state.

We should definitely send all of these people asking where to live for skiing or mountain biking to Ione. Mina is also pretty sweet, and real estate is a bargain.

    Interesting approach

My gut also say data gathering effort originating from a place very far away

    But I could be wrong

And wow. Everything that goes with that

You should see the per capita covid rates throughout the pandemic in Driggs and Ogden.

Probably 2/3, so we should be happy for OP's decision.

I mean, maybe a little more backstory, funny tech money newbie gear questions, and some more realistic locations. Driggs and Ogden are the $37, change for a nickel, TGR chatterbate locations.

Vail. My sources tell me soon there will be no employees, and all that low angle goodness will become a BC paradise.
Know of a pair of Fischer Ranger 107Ti 189s (new or used) for sale? PM me.

Second this. Close to one of the 50 classics. And if you need some extra cash to go out on the heli in the rubies, you could always work a couple of shifts at one of the brothels in Elko.
