Feeler: WTB 26" wheelset and fork
I'm kicking around the idea of building up a 26er for my 9yo from parts that I have + purchased frame. The things I'm missing currently are a decent wheelset (9mm qr, 15x100 or whatever fits the fork) and a decent fork (tapered steerer). Most of our riding around here has a fair amount of climbing involved so I'm trying to keep this thing light. Anybody have anything?

No fork, but do have a decent wheelset I'd pass on for what I recently paid, $100+ship.
Hope Pro 2 rear hub on Mavic X717 rim and Stans 3.30 hub 9mm qr or 15mm thru on Arch EX. Pretty sure the rear rim isn't officially tubeless, but I converted one back in the day.

Not mine, but I see it pop up locally when looking for parts:

They're not cheap, but you could buy a DJ fork. They're typically 100mm of travel, 26". The RS one is based on a Pike.

Manitou Markhor is worth looking at. Air spring and damper are nothing special but good enough for this purpose, pretty cheap, and in stock. Straight steerer, but you should be able to buy a headset that will allow it to work with a tapered head tube.
