    Seatown Grub

Think of the SLC Eats thread… but better tasting and twice the price…

What’s good in your hood these days?

Some new stuff I’ve had great meals at recently:
    - Electric Cello in Georgetown. Higher end small plates. Great drinks.
    - Roll Pod - new brick and mortar of the popular Indian food truck opened up in White Center. Rolled up Roti with Indian fillings, like a burrito almost. Order a #1 on heat, #2 is real deal.

I know it’s an old staple but I ate Kau Kau BBQ in the ID for the first time last week. Holy fuck - char siu perfection.

There was a pretty good thread on SeaEats a year or so ago started by a guy who threatened people if they came to Seattle. It was weird, but informative. Was that guy you?

I'm always up for more suggestions on places to eat in the area. I remember the previous thread and tried a few of them.

I remember that thread. It was really weird. I left before things got stabby.

I found it. Apparently had less to do with stabbing and more to do with bludgeoning.

not new, but left a very nice impression: Brimmer and Heeltap just west of woodland park

Also not new, but also awesome. Bar Del Corso Beacon Hill. Great outdoor patio when the weather agrees.

    Good Caribbean food - Bongos (Greenlake/Phinney) http://www.bongosseattle.com/

For being right next to 99 the outdoor patio is pretty cozy (well, when it's warm out).
