Pristine helmets are required by the dental crowd. Anything else is inferior.

Most helmet manufacturers recommend replacing helmets every 5 years (more often if involved in a crash) and that helmet is probably well over a decade old.

Fucking up your brain in a crash ain't worth saving some money. And judging by the craps on the helmet, it's been involved in a few crashes....

From what the shop owner told me, Alpine Meadows will no longer exist as a separate entity soon. All of it will be Palisades Tahoe. A lot of work is already done on the tram infrastructure.

I prefer a crash scarred sun faded visible tailgate drop to asphalt 15+, probably a 20ish year old, helmet between my brain and the next lift tower gong. Isn't that the sound a jong makes?

Please take that critique from someone who skis in a stocking cap occasionally.

I bought an Atomic helmet recently because the wife complained I didn't have a helmet. It makes a wind whistle sound when at a certain speed. Fack these things. But at least I look like a pro-dentist now?
