Ski Carry Backpack for Kids?
For short inbounds hikes 20-30 minutes, two boys about 4,8".
Was going to go with a Dakine Heli pack 12l, my wife has one and it seems to fit them well enough, But can't seem to find one that will ship in Canada before february 23 and that's too close to travel dates.
Anything else reasonably priced and small enough to work for the little dudes that I can research
Cheers

I've got a couple of these things sitting around somewhere that you could have for cheap.

How many kids do you need to carry?
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

thankfully the years of actually carrying the kids are behind now
Thanks for the offer John B, but I'd like to go the pack route.

Had good luck when my daughters were that size with a (10+ yr old) CamelBak -> SnoAngel maybe? Basically the narrow form factor CamelBak w/some really well done ski carry options. They appear to have grown up in size and price, but def recommend if you can find an older one (NOS or ebay).
Otherwise, have them grow into a couple of these:

My older daughter has the 28L version of this, and it is less bulky than my younger daughter’s 25L DaKine.
Good luck, they’ll have a great time regardless!

North Face Slackpack 2.0? Never used one but have been looking at it for the wife.
They got women’s sizing in black and purple.
