Upside down tomatoes are a real thing. Hanging bucket with tomato planted upside down through a hole in the bottom. A buddy did this off a raised porch in a tough property for sun. Worked really well, reach up and harvest fruit.

I did ok with a hanging bag one year but terrible in subsequent attempts. Most of the time the plants try to grow up and then break as fruit forms and gets heavy.

The garlic was doing so great until just recently when it decided to stop growing and now it seems to be dying. Time to pull it even though it didn't finish? Click image for larger version.

Pull up one or two of the dying ones. If the skins are rotting, and even seeing white mycelium on the roots, you have white rot and that bed is verboten for any garlic or onion growing. And it transfers easily to other beds via the gardening tools. Our beds got contaminated, still working on trying to remove the rot garlic used to do so good for us too.

Nice pics. 3 foot peas, hahahaha, I just planted my seeds. Waiting so impatiently for my potatoes to show themselves.

I don't see any rot. I'm going to bring one down to the farmers market now because there's a master gardener there today dispensing free knowledge.

Oh shera, I forgot to put this in. I must've missed a potato last year when I cleaned out the potato boxes and it ended up in the corner of my hoopty wheelbarrow. It's doing great! Click image for larger version.

Does anyone know anything about onions?

    I planted these

    https://territorialseed.com/collecti...tana-cipollini

And I planned on trying to dry them and store them but I failed to notice that they are ready in 85 days.

Its been over 90 days and they started flower buds which I guess is bad for storage.

What should I do? Use and give away? Will they hold in the ground?

Fuck. I dont know what the fuck im doing, but shits growing.

Start digging a root cellar. Sounds like harvest time. Are the bulbs fully formed?

Thank you! I'm doing up a brand new garden (construction site). It's a fun challenge, but more soothing to be surrounded by green instead of brown subsoil everywhere. Your garden is so cozy, the pictures really make me smile.
