Do you have a yeti cooler? That’s what I use. Bear and child proof.

Depends on their age. I have older kids that open and close yeti coolers better than I do. The hard coolers have lock holes tho.

Or you could move to my state, your neighbor to the south, and not have the problem cuz you pretty much get hung if you have been within 50 yards of any type of weed. No safe needed here.

Your kids rifle around on the top shelf in your clothes closet, upper kitchen cabinets, or in the garage or basement?

    They must be intensely curious.

We are all thinking back to when we were kids looking for both trouble and good times.

I cannot believe this has never come up here in 20+ years of stoned dads.

I have my grandfathers roll top desk which has a section on the back of the top drawer you don't see inless you pull it all the way out & big jar in a tote bag on the top shelf in my office.

    Works for now

Swap the label for some kind of canned veggie and my kids would never touch it. Ever.

First weed I ever smoked was out of my buddy's dad's lockbox that we broke into. I coughed into the bong and shot the cherry and bong water all over his parents bed. We left the coke alone.

Don't bother locking it up, just smoke it before they get to it.

I have the weed candy paranoia with my kid. I keep the gummies locked in my tool box but she’s a curious creature and loves candy. If she came across a weed candy she’d eat it on the spot and I’d be divorced in 3 minutes and be removed of my testicles.

I try to only buy the individually wrapped candies that are impossible to open without scissors or a knife.

Hah, yeah. The liquor was never hidden or secured growing up.

Definitely did that sometimes when left home alone. Not even looking for trouble necessarily, just plain curiosity.

Keep the wife in the loop, otherwise it's guaranteed to end up in the trash.

I think I rode my bike at that age although I'm not sure what that has to do with the fact that I had no interest in digging around my father's closet. Particularly a shelf that I couldn't reach.

You can store your weed on my island. It should be safe as long as you don’t enroll them in swim lessons.
