    PSA: Non-Tweener Bodes $150 (corrected)

    https://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/sp...431158603.html

I've seen a few posts where people have liked the green top-sheet ones, so this deal is for you.
(I'm more an OG kind of guy.)
[To be clear, not my sale. Just a heads-up on a deal I happened across.]

I think those are actually the OG shape and layup with metal. Great ski.

The tweeners that lots of people hated were these ones: https://www.evo.com/outlet/skis/blizzard-bodacious-2016

Whatever the case about metal, they're the tweener that seemingly everyone bashed. (I was under the impression they removed the metal. Whatever they did wasn't a big hit.)

The old garish graphic top-sheets were far beefier, and the new black topsheets were the same as the old ones. (I've got copies of both.)
    These are the tweeners.

I believe these are the original layup while the neutered ones were the same color but with carbon tips/tails.

Those are the year they updated the topsheets and kept the metal layup, just like the Cochise. Quite the steal if someone gets lucky enough to land them. I had the ones prior and after. These definitely have metal.

Hmmm... I guess I stand corrected.
    My apologies then.
(So how do you tell the difference? Never mind: If I'd followed that link that VONS posted, I know, eh?! )

I changed the thread header, if anyone wonders. Figured it might as well be correct.

It was just this one year that still was the original construction but they moved to the new textured topsheet. Since it was the same lime green as the "Spurred" Bodacious (no metal and tip and tail carbon), it's an easy mistake. The tip shape is different and the carbon areas shown in the tip and tail are the give aways. Also, the sizing changed.

If someone is interest I might be able to facilitate a local pickup and shipment.

Why don't you go practice fallin' down? I'll be there in a minute.

I definitely do not need these.

However, I am picking them up tomorrow afternoon for $125.

I may have to remount (seller's boots "were a 12") and I'm a 296 BSL, but looks like a lot of space in those toe tracks. I'm not a marker guy. Anyone able to ID those bindings and know how adjustable they are?

    Thanks for the PSA!!

Heel too, or am I going to end up moving significantly back from the line?

    And thanks!

Yes. Any demo toe always includes demo heel. Would be weird not to. Hard to see the demo heel track, but it’s got to be there.

Not bad bindings. They’re not the old markers.
    I trust them.
Probably Jesters. Easy to adjust. No pre releases.

Plus you can play with boot center if you want.

PS. I’ve seen those bindings sell for $100, so you have $25 killer skis. Well played.

    JPH - you owe me!
(I have three copies, so I really didn't need another, unless it was going to be a 196.)

I don't know if you've skied them or not, but they are "totally wicked!"

If those don't work out for you let me know. This could also be a great tgr loaner ski (demo clamps) for EC mags to take west...

+1. You can see the adjustment indicator for teh heel, too. Its the blue and white pieces under the heel, those "stripes" are the sizing indicators there for the heel. Nice score!!
If we're gonna wear uniforms, we should all wear somethin' different!
