WTB: M/L shell or lightly insulated

Looking for a new shell for my boy. 6' 2" 175lbs. Usually a larger medium or smaller large. It's gotta have a good collar and large, helmet compatible hood. Black preferably, or muted tones.
    Thanks

My boy wore this Trew Capow jacket 3-4 times last season when he was exactly you boy's size (now he's even bigger, so I'd advise you to stop feeding yours ASAP). Fits all your criteria except black. No idea on price: $150 shipped?

Flylow Kane jacket in midnight. Brand new. Bought it from here but I can’t remember who. It’s never been worn but has no tags. Size large. Color is midnight.

I just got myself one of these, good deal, and I'm impressed with it so far. Snap out vest, hood really is helmet compatible: Orage Corbet's 3 In 1 Shell Jacket (Past Season) - Men's | The Last Hunt

Not to offer here anything, but was eyeing this exact jacket and was curious on size/fit. I'm very happy with my all black Orage Spire which is very minimalistic yet very functional for touring and was going to add Corbett jacket for resort use.

Some good options so far, thanks. The Trew is in the lead...
I should have mentioned that a heavier shell is preferred. It will be used 5 days a week, sometimes carrying slalom poles on his shoulder and stuff.

Got a North Face Ceptor jacket size L in Purple. Sounds like I’ve got a similar frame. Solid jacket that should hold up for a while.

can send pics wearing it for size reference.
