I played the Plantation course for the first time last June. Played it twice in the same day. Fun track, although it was pretty crazy playing in what we called a 4 club wind. I stuck a 6 iron from 125 yards on one hole on the back... that's usually my 175 club.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

Good to see Phil get it going. Cam Smith is my guy.

Love the Norfolk pines all over the course. Those are one of my favorite trees.

The surf was looking good yesterday too off in the background at Honolua Bay. It will be firing Sunday. Golf…surfing…two of my hobbies.

If it didn’t PGA wouldn’t get enough stars to play those fall winter events.

Teeing off on 18 back in June. Reached it in 2 and my eagle putt lipped out. Such a fun course, except #9 - hate that hole so much.

The Players kicks off today and last night Tiger was inducted into the Hall of Fame by David Feherty, and introduced by his daughter Sam.

The azaleas are begging to bloom around my neighborhood which means we're less than a month away from Augusta. Can't wait.

I bet someone is wondering if moving The Players ahead by two months was really a good idea.

Watching the Monday round while working will be nice.

No Phil at the PGA to defend his title.

What a fucking bizarre, and rapid, downfall of an icon of the sport.

Addiction is a horrible disease. Ruins the addicts life and all of the people around them. Hope Phil can get clean. Norman is incorrigible.

Yeah, that's all I can chalk this up to is gambling addiction and coupled with a pretty narcissistic personality with vast sums of money to support both.

    What could go wrong?

Tiger is 70-1 to win. I'd bet 10-1 he finishes.

I was tempted to post the $40 million in losses in the gambling thread - not hard to see how numbers that big might influence things.

I think that would be fantastic for the game, especially with all this LIV/Phil/Norman nonsense going on in the background.

Well, if he's near the lead heading into the weekend of course that will be a big part of the story.
